MyPhotoClub suffered a significant system failure and is undergoing recovery.
A new version of the system is being implemented as part of the restoration process.
Because of this many features previously enjoyed on the site are not currently available
Rest assured, all previous features will be restored over time. Possibly even better!

Below is a link to the official results from the Qld Interclub 2024, presented at the awards on zoom last night, including the individual results for our submissions.
Also, below is a link to the recorded presentation from last night. It’s a bit slow at the start due to computer issues, but once it gets going it moves along quickly. The presentation shows the top images in each category, followed by the bronze, silver and gold category awards and finally, the Champion image.
As I mentioned last night, Creative Shots Photo Club ranked 9th out of 24 clubs entered, which is a terrific result for our small but very talented club.
There were some amazing images, and although we didn’t win any specific awards, the images shown above are the entries from Creative Shots members whose images scored highly enough to be included in the presentation.
Congratulations again to everyone and thank you to all who participated.
The weather is looking very promising for our astro shoot tomorrow, so it is all systems go. Janice will check the weather one last time in the morning, just in case there are any late changes.
Don’t forget, to save time tomorrow, if you are unsure about your camera settings, text Janice on 0419 691005 with your camera and lens models (include your lens’ largest aperture). She has an app she can use to help to work out the suggested settings.
I’ve booked a table for 8 under my name for 5.30 pm at the Palms Restaurant at the Sarina Beach Motel.
Looking forward to seeing you there and don’t forget the insect repellent.
Presentation of the Qld Interclub 2024 awards has just finished. The official results will come out in the next few days but in the meantime, here are the unofficial results – I’m pretty sure I got everyone from Creative Shots whose image scored highly, so I apologise in advance if I missed anyone.
