2024 Michele and Noel Jackson’s THE CONCEPT OF TIME CHALLENGE
2024 Cherish Artz THE FLOWER PORTRAIT CHALLENGE
2024 Helen and Marian’s OUTINGS CHALLENGE
by Cheryl Eagers, January 22, 2024
Challenge 2024 – The Concept of Time
Big thanks to Michele and Noel Jackson for sponsoring a challenge for 2024 – The Concept of Time.
Members are encouraged to capture an image that represents the concept of time.
This could be interpreted in various ways, such as showing the passage of time through changes in nature or urban environments, capturing moments that depict different times of the day (dawn, dusk, midday, midnight), or illustrating the contrast between the old and the new.
The emphasis is on creativity – you are encouraged to think outside the box, eg a photo of a clock might be too literal, instead, think about capturing scenes like a tree with half its leaves in autumn colors, or a street from a perspective that shows both historical and modern architecture.
Photographers should also include a storytelling component where they submit a short narrative with their photo, explaining their interpretation of time in the work.
One entry per member.
Digital Image and Written Component to be sent in one email to:jacksonstockphotography@gmail.com
Deadline: 20th November 2024
